Snow Center

Enjoy some of the best groomed snowmobile trails in central Minnesota, Douglas County.
The Snow Center is located right on the D.A.T.A. trail with access to hundreds of miles of trails. Maps are available at the Snow Center and the Front Desk.

Bring your own sled or rent one from us. We have snowmobile trailer parking on property.

Note: A credit card is required with $1000 deposit up front.

Must be 18 years of age or older to rent a snowmobile.
Drivers born after 1976 must have a snowmobile safety certificate to drive a snowmobile.

Includes:
Helmets, snowsuits, boots, face masks, & mittens when available and the first tank of gas.
With advanced reservations, our experienced guides can take you on a trail ride for a nominal fee. We have 10 sleds available for group rides or family outings.

Mini Z Rental:
Rental Rate:  $20 per 20 minutes
Arrowwood's Mini Z Snowmobile for kids is available for children ages 6 through 11.  The Snow Center has designated an area for Mini Z riding.

Ice Fishing
Enjoy ice fishing in the comfort of our fish house.  Accommodates four people.  Equipped with lights, propane heat, chairs, cards, and "rattle wheels."
Call for reservations at least one hour in advance, our staff will have the holes open for you and the house heated.
Fish House Rental: $20.00 per hour or $50 for 4 hours

Ice Skating and Broomball
We have an opportunity for ice skating not only on our freshwater pond, but also in the rink and broomball rink on Lake Darling in front of the hotel (ice thickness permitting).  Nets and a warming house will be available at the large Lake Darling rink.  You may also use your hockey equipment to play.
Rental rates:
Ice skates and hockey skates: $3.00 per hour
Broomball equipment complimentary.

Cross Country Skiing
We have groomed trails on property for you to enjoy.  Classical and skates tracks are available. There are also trails nearby.
Rental rates:
Cross country skis, poles, and boots:  $7.00 per hour;  $21.00  for 3 hours; $42.00 for 8 hours

Sledding
Sledding is available at the Snow Center sledding hill. The hill is for all ages to enjoy. Sleds are available at no charge for hotel guests, or you may bring your own.

Campfire with S'mores
Friday & Saturday at 7 p.m.
Meet at the Snow Center sledding hill for a campfire with S'mores, all ages are welcome!

Downhill Skiing, Tubing & Snowboarding
Enjoy Alexandria's ski area, Andes Tower Hills, located only 17 miles from Arrowwood. Andes has 15 downhill runs for everyone from beginner to expert.  Facilities are open mid November to March, weather permitting. 
Arrowwood offers discounted ski lift tickets to guests. Check with the Front Desk for information.

Lessons are available for downhill, cross-country skiing and snowboarding. Andes Tower Hills 877-542-6337

 

SNOWMOBILE RULES AND SAFETY GUIDELINES

Operators born after 12-31-76 must have in their possession a Minnesota State Snowmobile Safety Certificate. Helmets are required by all passengers on all rentals.

No riding on golf course, cross country ski trails or private property or any lakes.

ANY RENTER OBSERVED OPERATING A SNOWMOBILE IN AN UNSAFE MANNER, OR NOT COMPLYING WITH THE RULES WILL BE REQUESTED TO RETURN THE SNOWMOBILE TO THE SNOW CENTER.
