Erickson's Petting Zoo is a great place to take the family and enjoy all of the animals, gardens and special events! Enjoy a quick 30 minute drive through the Minnesota Lakes area from Arrowwood Resort to enjoy this area attraction.
The 90-year-old farmstead that is now Erickson's Petting Zoo used to be home to milk cows. The big red barn has been converted into a home for a wide variety of farm animals and birds.
Beside all of the animals, you also can pick all of your favorite in season vegetables from any one of our gardens. In 2007, we had several varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and squash, tomatoes, sweet corn, cantalopes, watermelons, cucumbers.
Animals like to be fed and we have corn available for a small fee. Remember that animals have teeth, so you need to careful with little fingers! When you are finished petting the animals, we have anti-bacterial hand sanitizer to wash your hands with. We are a USDA Licensed and inspected farm.
